I want to go sailing
I have been sailing since I am 6yo.
Then I started sailing cruises at the age of 23.
Since then I have done more than 56 cruises on boats from 22' to 55', monohull and catamaran and trimaran.
I have sailed on the French coasts in Normandy, Brittany, Atlantic coast, South of France, Corsica.
I have sailed in Turkey, in the Carribean from the south of the Grenadines to the Bristish Virgin Islands and in French Polynesia.
Since the first one I have been the skipper on board - Captain Gilles!
Since 19/06/2019 I am the proud owner of Grand Citron Vert, a 45' catamaran by Erik Lerouge, to go sailing around the world or somewhere else!

2023
From August 2023 to April 2024
From Brittany to Panama - solo sailing 7500 nautical miles
Solo sailing on Grand Citron Vert
I left Brittany on August 6th, 2023, crossed the Bay of Biscaye to arrive in Camarinas, Spain.
Then I sailed to Lisbon, Sines, and Lagos in Portugal.
From Lagos, I sailed to Agadir in Morroco and reached 20 knots in front of Essaouira with 40 knots of wind.
After 10 days in Morroco, I sailed to Canaries Islands, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria.
Then I sailed to Cabo Verde - 7 days to reach Palmeira - Isla of Sal, Palmeira where I stayed for one month and a half with one trip to Mindelo.
Palmeira is the best place I have visited so far. A small fishermen's village with the most wonderful people I have met yet.
I left Mindelo on November 6th to cross the Atlantic, still solo sailing. I was expected to cross the Atlantic in 12 to 14 days maximum.
Unfortunately, I had a problem with the autopilot after 5 days of sailing at an average speed of 7.5 knots.
I reached Martinique after 23 days at sea.
From December 2023 until mid-April 2024, I sailed in the Grenadines, spent one and a half months in Grenada, and sailed back to Martinique.
I left Martinique on April 1st to cross the Carribean sea to reach Linton Bay in Panama, where I arrived on April 9th after 8 days and 8 hours and 1368 nautical miles.
I hauled out my boat Grand Citron Vert at Linton Bay Marina mid April 2024 for several months until the next steps.
